According to blockchain transaction tracking expert “ZachXBT”, the decentralized trading platform “THORChain” encountered a new security vulnerability, and the value of stolen funds exceeded US$10.7 million.

According to preliminary information, the attack targeted multiple networks, including:

Although it has not yet been officially confirmed by the “THORChain” team, the news was quickly reflected in the performance of the currencies related to the project, with RUNE falling by more than 15% in a short period of time.

The currency traded above $0.58 before falling to around $0.50, hitting its lowest level in two weeks, before seeing some attempts at stabilization.
