The CLARITY Act went through more than 100 amendments before being taken up in the Senate Banking Committee

Members of the Banking Committee in the Senate revealed that they submitted more than 100 CLARITY proposals, where Senator Elizabeth Warren alone submitted more than 40 proposals before the vote on Thursday.

This is followed by a large number of amendments to the committee’s draft version of 309 pages on Tuesday, compared to the version issued in January, which was 278 pages.

More than 40 amendments have been submitted while the Senate prepares to review the project.

The political website reported that the list included dozens of amendments proposed by the House of Representatives for Banking Affairs, as well as a small number of amendments submitted by the sponsors of the Bank Affairs Committee.

The introduction of the crypto program in America, Eleanor Territt, said that one of the amendments of the Senate and the Federal Reserve was to grant the main accounts to companies specializing in digital currencies.

The amendment by Senator Jack Reid states “prohibition of using digital currencies as legal currency, for example, to pay taxes”.

The committee members submitted 137 amendments before the revision planned in January. The current results point to the continuation of the resistance as the legislation approaches the vote.

At the same time, the American Bankers Association sent more than 8,000 messages to members of the Senate since last Friday, according to a source quoted by Triet. And the campaign focuses on the settlement of the returns of the stable currencies in which it is used by Tourha, Torcia, Torsia, and Angela Alsobrox.
