He added that the platform will roll out a range of features within weeks, including a “smart cash tag” feature that will enable transactions within the publication itself.
His remarks came in the context of discussions on apps that charge fees to users without their consent or turn specific projects into profit-making tools through coding, a model that Bell stressed would have a negative impact on the platform.
He also noted that X is updating its programming interface (API) rules to prevent such applications, with the goal of encouraging innovation in the crypto space without harming the social experience.
