“Payments and stablecoins will be the breakthrough story,” notes Sixer. “Participants will actually be able to use it on the ground, including paying for food directly with cryptocurrencies,” he adds.

This experience will be supported by an increasingly mature Tier 2 ecosystem, production-ready coils, simplified process calculations and an end-to-end user experience with passwords and session keys.
Beyond payments, visitors can expect advances in privacy proofs, open finance, embedded vaults, public goods frameworks for finance and identity, and new forms of chain media and social platforms.

“You have a population that is used to cryptocurrencies being affected by inflation and capital controls,” Sixer explains. “You have a strong development culture with universities, meetings, hacking spaces and startups. Logistically, the city is ideal for a distributed exhibition.”
