BitMine has witnessed a new wave of Ethereum purchases, with the company adding 25,000 ETH coins to its vaults in a transaction worth over $50 million, continuing its strategy of expanding its holdings despite volatility in the digital currency market.

According to data from blockchain tracking platform Lookonchain, the company withdrew 25,000 ETH from the Kraken platform in a large transfer worth approximately $50.4 million at the time of the transaction.

Just days ago, BitMine acquired approximately $237 million worth of Ethereum, marking the company’s largest weekly acquisition of 2026.

BitMine is currently the world’s largest company with institutional reserves of Ethereum, and its movements have attracted widespread attention from market investors and traders.

Although Ethereum prices continue to be under pressure and struggle to maintain the psychological support level of $2,000, the company continues to increase its holdings, which some observers believe shows its long-term confidence in the future of the digital asset.

Meanwhile, expectations for Ethereum’s performance remain mixed, as some analysts warn that Ethereum could continue to fall to lower levels if the market continues to weaken, while others believe that sustaining trading above $2,000 could pave the way for fresh gains in the period ahead.

Continued buying by major institutions is seen as a supporting factor for Ethereum, especially given growing institutional interest in the digital currency and the expansion of long-term holding strategies.
