Franklin Templeton gets approval to list its XRP fund on New York Stock Exchange


Franklin Templeton Exchange Traded Fund (XRP) has been approved for listing on the New York Stock Exchange (ARCA), following approval of the listing and formal approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

This represents the final step closer to actual launch.

With the move, Franklin is preparing to join the ranks of asset managers that have recently launched spot investment products linked to the XRP currency in the U.S. market, including Canary Capital and Bitwise.

Grayscale is also preparing to launch XRP and Doge spot funds upon final approval.

At the time of publishing this article, XRP was trading above $2, steady around $2, and down less than 1% in the past 24 hours, according to “CoinGecko” data.
