Bybit platform uses artificial intelligence to recover US$300 million fraud case: details

Bybit platform announced that it can recover approximately US$300 million for users through an advanced fraud detection system based on artificial intelligence.

According to the Security Initiative 2025 report, the platform reviewed $500 million worth of withdrawals in the fourth quarter and intercepted and recovered $300 million, helping to protect more than 4,000 users.

The AI model also identified 350 high-risk addresses associated with investment fraud, helping to protect approximately 8,000 users from potential losses in addition to blocking more than 3 million account hacking attempts in one year.

Bybit relies on a three-level security system to monitor unusual activity, sending alerts during suspicious withdrawals and immediately stopping withdrawals if an address associated with fraud is detected.
