The “Moonbirds” project plans to launch the BIRB digital currency on Solana in early 2026

Moonbirds plans to launch its digital currency BIRB on the Solana network early in the first quarter of 2026, confirmed Spencer Gordon-Sand, CEO of Orange Cap Games, which owns the rights to the project.

During his participation in the “Solana Breakpoint 2025” conference, Gordon-Sand explained that the launch of a digital currency on Solana is part of a broader strategy to transform the company into a multi-billion dollar entity in value and revenue, similar to the “Pop Mart” model, with the ambition to become a “Pop Mart” in a Web 3 environment.

“Orange Cap Games” acquired the rights to “Moonbirds” in May last year as part of its basic plan to transform NFT intellectual property into consumer products and games.

Gordon-Sand said the company is entering its second year of operations and expects to do about $8 million in revenue this year, rising to about $20 million next year based on current dealer commitments.

The company previously had great success with the “Vibes” trading card game associated with the “Pudgy Penguins” project, which generated approximately $6 million in revenue over the past 12 months.

The copyright of “Moonbirds” is planned to be integrated into the “Vibes” game product next year.

In addition to its cooperation with “CGC” and “PSA” in the field of collectibles evaluation and classification, “Orange Cap Games” also has publishing partnerships with “GTS” and “Star City Games”, the main traditional parties in the field of collectibles.
